With MovilWeb Rutero, a citizen can access information about the routes and routes of road taxis in the capital, their exchange points, and see the taxis that are moving in real-time. In addition, the user can obtain the different prices from any origin to any destination by clicking on the map.
It was developed by the GeoMIX agency of the GEOCUBA Business Group in collaboration with the Cuba Taxi Company, the Fleet Control Directorate, and the Ministry of Transportation. To display vehicle location data requires Android OS version 4.0.2 or higher and Internet access.
Through its functionality, the client will be able to view the taxis moving in real-time along their routes; and obtain the price calculation from any origin to any destination by interacting with the map.
With the help of the GPS installed in the vehicles, the application lets users know their position in real time, as well as routes, exchange points, and ticket prices based on the section they travel in, developed by GeoMIX software agency for fleet management and location services.
