Nintendo's Mario games always had amazing features that enhanced the overall experience.

From the horizontal moving journey to the new maps, there are so many reasons why it's a better choice. Mario Kart 64 really stands out as a superior choice, making it an ideal game for anyone to try out.

There are NDS ROM versions of the same game, and you can download them to install them on your Android smartphone. To play the NDS version, you will need an emulator. There are some websites offering both the emulator and the game at the same time. Let's take a closer look at the features first.

Features of Mario Kart 64 APK

With new maps to enhanced features, you can get additional advantages, which makes it a better choice than the other racing games of that time. We loved this game after we tried all the versions -

  • You must race on each of the eight tracks to get to the top. It may take a couple of tries, but you can become an expert gamer.
  • Putting the pedal to the metal, you are playing a new racing version of Mario with enhanced gameplay features.
  • You must get rid of new obstacles. Several multiplayer modes are now available.
  • You'll be able to reach the top in the race with better simulation and control over the game. A bit of a realistic simulation can be found.
  • Considering these features and the design of Mario Kart 64, you can say that it is an advanced NDS option to test out using a simulator on your android phone. You should choose a reputed website to download Mario Kart 64 so that you won't face any problems.

Game modes

There are four game modes in Mario Kart 64 Download: Grand Prix, Time Trial, Versus, and Battle. Grand Prix mode supports both single-player and competitive multiplayer gameplay, whereas other modes only support one or the other.

Grand Prix

One player or two players engage in four consecutive races in the same series of three laps, each on a different course, on one of the four cups (Mushroom, Flower, Star, or Special, against seven (or six) computer players. When a player completes a race, points are awarded based on his or her rank. If the player finishes 5th or lower, the race must be restarted. In contrast to the first Mario Kart game, the player can restart an unlimited number of times, instead of only being permitted three restarts. All four races are completed, and trophies are awarded to the players who accumulated the most points: bronze for third place, silver for second, and gold for first. There are three difficulty levels, according to engine size: 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. Additionally, there is an unlockable difficulty called 'Extra' that allows players to race at 100cc on tracks that are inverted left to right. In this game, this feature is provided for the first time. In later installments, this feature is referred to as "150cc Mirror Mode."

Time Trial

This is a single-player mode in which the objective is to complete a three-lap race on the selected track in the shortest amount of time. The player always starts every race with a Triple Mushroom in reserve, but there are no opponent racers or item boxes. We also save a race's shortest single lap time, plus the five shortest total times for any given course. You can race against a ghost character that mimics your movement from a previous race. On a Controller Pak device, ghost data for up to two different courses can be permanently stored. Despite this, the Virtual Console version of Mario Kart 64 Download released on the Wii is incompatible with the device and thus cannot save ghost data.

Versus mode

Two to four players compete on any track without computer assistance. With two players, the total wins for each are kept, and in a three- or four-player match, the number of first, second, and third place wins for each player is kept.

Battle Mode

This mode supports two to four players and has the last man standing objective. Players kill each other by attacking each other with items inside one of four selectable arenas. Three balloons are attached to each of the karts before the match begins. When a player's character is damaged by one of the other players' offending items, he or she loses one balloon, and is eliminated from the game upon losing all balloons. As soon as a winner is selected, the match ends. Players who lose all their balloons in three- or four-player matches will turn into mini-karts and forfeit the ability to win. The Mini Bomb Kart can still be maneuvered by the player, but it can only collide with another player once and cause damage before it ceases to participate.
