The two original developers of ZSNES have finally come together again! Presenting SUPER ZSNES! It has been completely rewritten from scratch. This GPU-powered SNES emulator brings you all of this: some familiar things, some new things, and some things that go beyond all of them. This emulator is still in the early stages of development and will continue to be improved.
Note: For now, ROMs can only be loaded from the app's internal folder, so please copy them there. We are currently working on improving this feature.

Super Enhancement Engine
Support for 7 popular games is currently available in the Super Enhancement Engine. As the development of this emulator progresses, support for more games will be added:
- High Resolution - This is not just an auto-upscaler, but it uses an internal drawing program to ensure that high-resolution details can be manually created in such a way that they look clear and attractive.
- Texture/Normal Map - This adds some excellent details in the background, giving them a high-resolution look.
- Overclock - Some specific games, in which the speed often slows down, are overclocked.
- Wide Screen (where available) - Whenever a game is internally coded in such a way that it can partially or fully support widescreen, we enable it.
- Uncompressed Audio Replacement - We select and collect uncompressed audio samples to replace the original, highly compressed audio samples.
- 3D - Currently, this is only supported on Perspective-Style Mode 7; it replaces tiles with 3D height-mapped data.
You can individually disable all enhancements according to your playing style.
Note: Enhancement data does not include any ROM or copyrighted data. You will need to provide the ROMs yourself. Please do not request ROMs from the developers.
