Blitzcrank's Poro Roundup, a free side-scrolling mini-game, is now available for a limited time from Riot Games, creators of League of Legends (and Teemo... sigh).
Baron Nashor's belly threatens to swallow Blitzcrank's fluffy pore friends. But why? It's because robots have hearts too... maybe their programming just tells them that they do. It's getting confusing.
During the League of Legends Arcade celebration until September 21, 2015, you can download Blitzcrank's Poro Roundup!
Gameplay
The main objective of Blitzcrank's Poro Roundup is to grab Poros Poros while evading obstacles. The track moves up and down, and you can "crank" to grab and pull Poros and objects in front of you.
As a reward, grabbing Poros saves them from being eaten by Baron Nashor Baron Nashor and grants you gold, which can be used in the Shop. You lose one heart for each Poro that disappears past the left side of the screen (where Baron eats them). In the event that too many Poros are devoured, your champion will give up and be eaten by Baron.
Poros come in a variety of forms, some of which possess special characteristics. When you have saved enough Poros, you will enter a Boss Fight with another named champion in League of Legends. Their attacks can stun (1.5s) or slow (2.5s) you, making it harder to collect Poros. Boss Fights consist of three phases, and in each phase, the boss gains new attacks or changes them around. By damaging them, you trigger the next phase. When you grab the boss three times, you defeat them, and you move on to the next stage.
