VK launched the online store RuStore on May 25th with the RuStore APK. After RuStore and NashStore launched last month, this is the third Android app list in Russian.
RuStore seems to be better than anything on the market despite its small name. It's not quite as good as Google Play, but it's a decent store with standard apps and an easy-to-use interface.
Since VK's App Store is currently one of the largest players in the Russian IT market after Yandex, I had high expectations from the start.
Local search engines, however, have opted out of this market, and the main mistake lies with the creators of social networks. RuStora makes a better first impression than NashStore.
What is RuStore APK?
Mikhail Mishustin issued an executive order on April 21st creating RuStore. The Russian Prime Minister declared on 1 June that Russia must create an app store for mobile devices.
Together with the Digital Development Department, the VK office played a key role in this project.
According to the organization's representative, the Russian government attaches great importance to RuStore, which comes pre-installed on all mobile phones sold in the country, enabling Russian citizens to download important apps at any time.
